I just upgraded to 33.1.1 on my Mac and since i have the tab function seems broken.

I can click the new tab option but cannot select the new tab to use it

When i have multiple tabs open i cannot navigate between them

I can see the "new tab" besides this one but cannot open it or use it.

What happened?

Sounds that Tab Mix Plus is broken. You can check the Tab Mix Plus forum:

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Are you able to open the Add-ons page (Command+Shift+a)? If so, could you try disabling your Conduit-related plugin(s) by setting it(them) to "Never Activate". This probably won't affect the current window, but could take effect in a new window or after you quit and start Firefox up again.

Also, I don't know whether this is related, but your version of Tab Mix Plus is from October 2013. There was an update in September 2014 which is available from the Add-ons site: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/tab-mix-plus/
