Windows 8.1 crashed after loading a bad program. I lost all my email along with my Thunderbird install. The email I want is still on Gmail account. Reloaded Win 8.1 and set tags in gmail to unread. Thunderbird will not download them again. Any one know how to retrieve these emails?

there are setting in your gmail account at gmail that set what mail can be downloaded. I think they default to the last month, and only mail from a date etc.
