Hello.

Firefox has been crashing on YouTube. After resetting Firefox, it still doesn't work. I have also cleared all cookies and cache.

Here is the interesting part. YouTube doesn't crash when I'm logged out of my YouTube account.

I have attached my Event Viewer logs,

I am running Windows Vista Ultimate x64

Thank you for your help!

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it and select Submit.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.

Try to clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

You can run this code in the Web Console (Firefox menu button or Tools > Web Developer) to clear localStorage for the domain in the current tab.

var P=localStorage,L=P.length,i;for(i=L-1;i>=0;i--){K=P.key(i);P.removeItem(K)}

Evaluating localStorage should give length:0

Note that you may have to type a specific phrase to allow pasting in the Web Console.
