I'm trying to refresh my firefox. Pressing the refresh button does not bring up a dialog box.

I'm using "https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings" which has a refresh button. Pressing it should bring up a dialog box according to the associated text. Does the refresh take several minutes or is there something else that should happen?

Why do you want to refresh Firefox?

Refresh Firefox {web link} is a LAST RESORT ! !

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

This should bring up a window to choose Safe Mode or Refresh Firefox.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

This should bring up a window to choose Safe Mode or Refresh Firefox.

Thanks,... see my new question about migrating from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I tried to refresh Firefox so that a plugin I needed would start to work.
