emails display on my Android phone (using Cloud Magic), when I start Thunderbird, it does too good a job deleting junk mail and SPAM, it sometimes deletes mail I need to see. I cannot find the missing emails in any of the folders, much of the junk email does not make it to the Junk folder Any ideas? Thank you all in advance

What is the account type on the phone - POP or IMAP?
