I have old eyes. How do I change the font size of the home page "Inbox > 'Subject:From:Date:Location"

If I concentrate I can read it. This is e-mail the last thing I want to do while reading it is concentrate. So how do I increase the font soze of said home page. I can change the message font size no problem. Please make "Cmd +/-" work for changing the font size through out the program.
