How can I connect Thunderbird to Brighthouse -mail.brighthouse.com?
Brighthouse assigned me my email and has a very limited email program with no capabilities to import my data from Thunderbird. I want to keep using Thunderbird but like to go through Brighthouse's server. Info I have from Brighthouse is wrong and will not let me connect me to their server.

I have just looked at the brighthouse site and it wants to know the zip code. So it's pointless trying to guess what your settings should be without knowing your location.
So, what settings were you told? What settings are you using?
The easiest way to answer this second question is to post your settings.
- Open Help (or click on three-line-icon and select Help).
- Choose Troubleshooting Information.
- Clear the check box "Include account names".
- Use the button Copy to clipboard to select and copy all the text.
- Paste this in your post.
