Hi I have latest 50 f'fox. Since update f'fox crashes every single time. I cannot shop online as it crashes. It does not matter whether I have a single tab open or not.

F'fox will not load, or becomes responsive. It closes but does not restore ever like it used to.

I have uninstalled and re-installed. I have refreshed and checked all plug ins and ensured all up to date.

Problems started since new 50 version f'fox.

I have windows 7, 32 bit. F'fox uses over 1.5 Gb Help firefox warriors

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

While still in Safe Mode,

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it to Submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

If you can't get Firefox to open, you will have to do this the hard way. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mozillacrashreporter Open the file browser / explorer on your computer. Note: You may have to enable Show Hidden Folders / Files. Enter this in the address bar;

Windows: %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted Win 7/Vista: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted Win XP/2000: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted

Mac OS: /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Crash Reports/submitted Linux: /home/<username>/.mozilla/firefox/Crash Reports/submitted

Copy the last 5-7 Recent File Names in the folder. Post the information in the reply box below.

Some problems occur when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;

  • Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
  • Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs. For detailed instructions, see

Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet. {web link}

Hi Guys

I have followed all advice. I followed Malawarebytes advice and uninstalled malawarebytes and ran their uninstaller.

Did you mean uninstall anti-exploit? I have unistalled malaware bytes as well as uninstalling and then re-installing the latest version of anti-exploit.

Here are the crashes again

Hi Fred

You sent me a link to an AMD driver. I followed link but this link is for Windows 7 64 bit and for a graphics card that I do not have.

As I am not as technically knowledgeable I would appreciate some further help.

I have a Toshiba L300D-20R satellite pro, originally had Windows Vista but now running Windows 7 32-bit.

Processor: AMD ATHLON X2 Dual Core QL-64 210 Ghz

Installed Ram: 4.00 Gb RAM (3.50 usable)

The Grahics Card is ATI Radeon 3100

Driver for card is from ATI Technologies version 8.632.1.2000 from 17.08.2009

If I need to change this would you please send me direct link that is compatible with my system.

Thank you Fred
