hi, it's unfortunate that microsoft uses these kind of fear tactics and selective claims to try and push their own products on their operating system.

you can disable these kind of advertisements by going into the start menu > settings > system > notifications & actions and switching off the preference "get tips, tricks and suggestions".

I know of a guy whom I am not going to name that tried to replicate this claim (months ago) with three identical laptops. The results were inconstant each time with each browser on each laptop. He even installed a bare minimum Win10 on each in identical setup and again got inconstant results each test run with each browser. One of the problems he found was Win10 had a tendency to suddenly use a significant amount of cpu (like say 25%) with something running which then caused the battery to drain faster. He never did bother to post video in frustration.
