Background: In Oct. 2016, I moved long distance. I had to discontinue my old phone service several days before getting new phone service. This resulted in 2 yahoo accounts having an out-of-date phone number for me. Yahoo is not letting me into those 2 e-mail accounts via its browser interface unless I can receive a text via the old phone number. (I tried again less than an hour ago.) Impossible. I need to update those accounts.

The question: What is the current correct phone number for yahoo e-mail support? I cannot find any numbers in yahoo's help or support web pages.

Well, Bruce answered the immediate question (thank-you, Bruce), but not the real problem.

I had already groped all over the yahoo and support pages and tried all their suggestions, multiple times. I did this again yesterday after seeing Bruce's response. Dead ends and failures.

I use Mozilla for 99+% of my e-mail activity, including the 2 yahoo e-mail addresses that I'm having trouble with. I realize the real problem is not a Thunderbird issue, and not a Mozilla issue. Regardless, I hoped I could get lucky in this forum. I appreciate that Bruce replied. (I looked at many posts/questions in the yahoo forum, and never saw a yahoo answer!)

If anyone knows how to get help from a real person inside yahoo, I (and others!) would really appreciate it.
