Moving profile does not work

I am trying to move profile from old HDD (saved data from crashed PC) to a new one. I know what to do (copy CONTENTS of old profile to the new profile and so on), but it does not work. I also tried to create new profile with profile manager and so on, nothing helps. If it is important, the old system was Windows 7, the new one is Windows 10. I do not see problems like "read-only" files, problems with rights or any other like these. After copying content of profile, I start Firefox, but it looks like it does not see copied contents and start like a new installation.

The same behavior happened with Thundebird!

I am probably doing something wrong, but after a few hours of searching for answer, I am lost. Do you have any idea what is wrong?

NOVÝ profil je preto NOVÝ, že je NOVÝ. A nie že ho potom prepíšete tým starým.

1. Vytvoriť NOVÝ profil 2. Keď všetko funguje ako má, pokračovať v tom novom profile a začať si budovať Firefox odznova.

Do NOVÉHO profilu si preneste iba tieto súbory zo starého profilu: C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxx.default - platí pre Windows 10 1. hesla, ktoré zostali v STAROM profile: - logins.json (signons.sqlite v starších verziach Firefoxu) a key3.db 2. prihlasovacie údaje, ktoré zostali v STAROM profile: - cookie.sqlite 3. Záložky, ktoré zostali v STAROM profile: - bookmarks-2016-11-28_xxxxxxxxx.jsonlz4 (číselný údaj 2016-11-28 = dátum, ktorý sa denne mení. Toto je z 28.11.2016) - stará história a aj záložky sú v súbore places.sqlite

Všetky tieto kopírovania do nového profilu sa musia vykonávať pri ukončenom Firefoxe. https://support.mozilla.org/cs/kb/jak-prenest-dulezita-data-ze-stareho-profilu-do-no#w_hesla
