How do I arrange my e-mails to be in order of date received with the newest on top?
My emails come in mixed in with existing messages. I want them to be listed in order of date received.

Use the sorting functions. In the traditional menu across the top, or in the Application Menu: View|Sort By.
You'll want Date, Unthreaded and Descending.
You can do the same by clicking on the buttons at the top of the columns.

Date sorted by descending BUT when restarted date is by Ascending !.
