Search box is hidden (not removed)

I recently reinstalled Windows 10 and downloaded FF. My search box (bar) is hidden. Not removed. I did try customizing but the search box is there. While opening Firefox it is visible for a split of a second but then immediately hides again.

Hi  !

This may be caused by a Mozilla experiment, called 'Shield Studies'.

You can check to see if you are enrolled in that experiment by typing about:studies in the address bar and then tap Enter. If you see any extensions there : disable (or remove) them.

You can also check for 'unfamilar' extensions in Options => Add-ons => Extensions. If you see any extension there that you didn't install yourself : just disbale (or remove) them.
