You can set it to duckduckgo, or whatever you want.
This is in Settings => Search

Firefox is a web browser and Google in this case is a search engine.

I guess I don’t understand the difference between a search engine and a web browser.
However, I just set my search setting to DuckDuckGo. Thank you both for your answers.
