When I am watching a video on YouTube, there is this barely noticeable line that makes the video look kind of off. This doesn't happen on Twitter, Instagram or any other websites that play video. I have disabled hardware acceleration and rebooted Firefox, but the problem still occurs. This only seems to happen in lower qualities, but at the area I live in I only get around 2 - 3 mbps download, so I have to watch in lower qualities. I'm using Firefox Nightly.

The line also disappears when I pause.

Youtube is bandwidth intensive so the lower your ISP speeds the more noticeable video problems will show up. What you want to do is have nothing else running in the background and just youtube and see what happens. Disable all extensions to verify those aren't the cause of the video problems as well.

In addition to the above :

You might consider switching to the more stable release Firefox version - the latest version now is 62.0.2, which you can download in your preferred language from here :

I don't think it's my ISP speeds. It hasn't happened on other browsers. I have tried disabling extensions and program, and it doesn't fix it.

Then you need to uninstall FF and delete Mozilla folder and reinstall FF as it sounds like something is corrupted in FF folder then.

Do you have any content blocking extensions?

What you see might be artifacts that are leftover when content is removed/blocked that YouTube overlays on the player.
