Global search does not search the trash folder. Why?
I have global search enabled. When I put mailbird in the search box two email addresses come up. Clicking on either one brings up a no results page. However, if I open the trash folder and put mailbird in the filter box the one email in the trash folder that contains mailbird in both the from address and body shows up instantly. Why doesn't global search find it?

Trash is excluded from global search, by default, but you can enable it by right-clicking Trash, Properties, and checking the box 'Include messages...'. I presume it's excluded due to low priority and performance savings.

Sure would be nice if that bit of info were included in the KB article on global searches.
Another thing that would be nice would be to show what folder a message listed in the search results is located. Or have I missed seeing that?
In the Global Search tab, the results are broken down by folder in the left pane. To find the folder that contains a result, click 'Open email as list' to show the results in a Threads Pane. Enable the Location and Account columns to show the folder and account. That is close to specifying the message path.
