Hello, I've been using Firefox as my browser choice for ten years now and just recently whenever I click on the Firefox site I get this banner at the top of my screen with an annoying Microsoft Edge pop-up multiple times when I'm using the Firefox browser. Can anyone tell me how i can stop these annoying pop-ups? Thank you for your help.

Hi doughosie1, do these banners appear when you are viewing Bing pages, such as the Bing home page or Bing search results? This is a new feature of Bing, so to avoid it you could try:

  • click off the banner if possible using X or maybe later or no thanks or whatever they offer
  • use an add-on like uBlock Origin to remove that element from the page
  • use a different search engine such as DuckDuckGo instead of Bing
