Version 78 looks great, but GOOGLE no longer works!
Thunderbird sure looks very nice! However, of my two gmail accounts Thunderbird is connecting to the server and then retrieves nothing! Please help! Tried POP and IMAP for both. This worked fine up until I upgraded to 78 (from 68). I can send myself an email from another non google address, see it there as unread in the webmail interface but TB no longer pulls down read or unread messages.

Remove the account and add it again, or start afresh with a new profile.
A great idea which I will try next time! It is very "magically suspicious" that it would not work the last three days since I ran the update and today it decides to start working (mid day). Thank you. I hope it was just a google problem!
