Firefox is not properly displaying fonts within an online pdf

more options

I have an online magazine which we upload through Yumpu. They create really hi-def .pdf documents that open inside a great online viewer at https://www.yumpu.com/en/document/read/63962453/september-2020 It works just fine in other browsers but the fonts are all kinds of messed up in Firefox.

There's obviously no problems in the file since it views correctly in 3 other browsers and it prints great also.

Anyone seen this before?

It's not a PDF when it reaches Firefox.

The site has encoded the main body font as a data URI. It's readable on mine, but maybe you have a setting or add-on that blocks it somehow.

@font-face { font-style:normal; font-weight:normal; font-family:"f8generic"; src:url(data:application/x-font-woff;chartset=utf-8;base64,long string of gibberish==) format("opentype"); }
