I'm using the Firefox Sync to sync my bookmarks between my windows desktop and mobile. No problems with the sync itself, but on mobile, I have to click Menu / Bookmarks / Desktop Bookmarks / Bookmarks Menu to see my bookmarks. For a feature that is supposed to provide convenience, this seems to be very inconvenient.

Is there any way to get to my sync'd bookmarks faster on Android?

I am aware you can start typing the name of the bookmark in the search bar to bring up that bookmark, but it would be nice to also move the sync'd bookmarks up a few menus on Android so it doesn't take so many clicks to access them.

Hi

I can suggest that you add some of your most often needed sites as Top Sites to the Firefox for Android homescreen. This article will help:

Yes I was aware of that functionality, but not what I was looking for. The benefit of bookmarks is that they are synchronized between devices. Maybe home screen is sync'd too, but I use bookmarks and don't want to start using two tools for the same thing. I am fine with searching bookmarks from the search bar until (if) bookmarks are accessible on mobile with fewer clicks.

To be honest, I'm not sure why mobile and desktop would not share the same top level bookmarks folder anyway. It seems silly to have a different bookmark folder structure for different devices. Just put everything in a folder called "bookmarks" by default on all devices, and make that the top level folder. Then for the bookmark toolbar on desktop, just let us pick which folder or subfolder to display.

Thank you for your feedback. We do keep features under review and this is something that may change in a future update.
