Hey,

I'd like to suggest a feature, adding fingerprint Authentication instead (or plus to) the password. My laptop got an inbuilt fingerprint reader and I thought that maybe other people would benefit from that feature.

P.S couldn't find anywhere to submit a feature requests, only bug reports.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/introduction-to-e2e-encryption Cannot find something about fingerprints acces on your pc for Thunderbird. Its made for system use.

There was a addon but that’s not working. https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-us/thunderbird/tag/fingerprint%20reader

And there is a option to use Touch ID with certain apple products. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/set-passcode-and-touch-id-firefox
