I have Windows 10 Home version 20H2, Thunderbird 78.13.0. Moving messages does nothing using drag and drop from message header list to folder in left vertical pane. Moving works when right-clicking and selecting a folder from menu (but that takes forever because I have a ton of folders!).

I restarted Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode) by going to the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled" but that did not help. So, I restarted with add-ons enabled. (I have not created any new add-ons.)

Help please!

Well, I discovered the problem also existed in Windows Explorer, so I googled drag and drop issues on Windows PCs and it said to try rebooting. I had just rebooted recently, so it didn't occur to me that this was the problem. But, alas, it was and now it's fixed. Oh happy day.
