I'm trying to enable Firefox to utilize Windows Notifications. Currently, unlike other Apps, Firefox does not appear in the Windows Action Center for Notifications. In settings under Privacy & Security, Permissions, Notifications; "Block new requests asking to allow notifications" is unchecked. I've tried entering "about:config", searching for "Alerts" and enabled "useWindowsBackend", but to no avail. Firefox still doesn't appear as an App in the Windows notification settings, nor does a website, which in chrome utilizes Windows notifications, but not in Firefox. Does anyone have any suggestions?
