in Firefox browser v. 95 I can't disable the side bar that shows recent bookmarks. and there are no solutions I can find on Google. Very annoying.

The bookmarks sidebar would show all the bookmarks and not only recent bookmark, so in case that this isn't about the bookmarks sidebar that you can toggle via "Ctrl+B" then please provide a screenshot showing these bookmarks.
