I signed up for Capitol One Shopping Online Tool coupon which is an extension integrated into Firefox. However, after downloading the extension, there is a credit card size blank image with shadowed edges so you know it's there on my windows screen. It is there all the time on top of the Firefox browser. If I hover my mouse over it, I can't click on anything it covers. This blank image will not go away. How do I get rid of it?

I am not familiar with that add-on. I looked at the reviews to see whether other users mentioned it, but I didn't see that issue. Some people list other problems.

One possible reason for an overlay on a page to be blank is if an ad blocker tried to remove it but didn't do the job completely (for example, removed the text and close button but left the overlay). If you use an ad blocker, you might experiment with whether making an exception for a site allows the overlay to display properly.
