Hello everybody, I am using Firefox/Zen Browser in Linux and having an issue which bothers me a lot.

I am using Firefox for PDF viewing and was not having this issue in Windows. I don't know why, Firefox changes locations of PDF every time with something temporary rather than it's original place and it makes impossible to see them without reopening it via clicking. Is there any possible solution for it? I am having this issue both in Firefox and Zen.

Brief cross-reference to thread on r/Firefox (unsolved there): https://old.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/1gtaw7k/

Is it possible your OS or other system software creates a sandbox when it launches Firefox, allowing use of virtual paths only, and then dumps it after Firefox exits?

yes, that was my issue in first place already, thank you anyway though :-) flatseal is the way.

Just to flesh that out for anyone who has a similar question, you needed to use flatseal to give Firefox permission to your real directories so it doesn't create temporary ones?

yes, exactly.
