How do I know if the security is working if I see no green box in lower right corner. My home machine always displays this box (or a red one if it is a problem site). This computer has no such notification

McAfee isn't related to Mozilla or Firefox support. Is McAfee installed on that PC? You might want to try McAfee support for help with that issue.
