I can't open the new version wihout using the old version. After instaliing the new version, I can't delete the old one because I keep getting the response that it is in use.
I tried to install the new version of firefox and I after opening that link and uploading it I can't switch cover to the new version because I keep getting the message that the old one is still in use. When I drag the old version to the trash, my computer won't allow me to dispose of it again saying that it is still in use.

Please review the above link. The main information you are looking for is the information about ending the firefox process. You will need to make sure that all firefoxs are closed and then follow the directions to end the firefox process. After that, remove the old firefox.
