When I am on Facebook, if I click on the link to view "Most Recent" or if I am clicking on another link, Firefox will first freeze and then will go to a black screen. At the top of the screen in the orange bar it says: Firefox,-Not Responding and the name of the app (Facebook), for example next to it. This black screen will stay that way for approx. 20 seconds then will go back to the page.

I get this often. A lot of open windows and then suddenly a new window or an existing one will go black and wait about 20 seconds then come back. Firefox 9.0.1 on Windows 32-bit.

Hi Mick. Thanks for your response. Is there anything I can do to resolve the problem. I am ok on computers but not really tech savvy. I have Firefox 9.0.1 with Windows Vista Home Premium, 64 bit. Thank you for any additional help you can give me.
