having trouble opening with some attatchments in hotmail

Since upgrading to FF4 sometimes when I open an email in hotmail the attachments that are supposed to be there aren't and when I send an email with attachments the attachments dont go. but if I open hotmail with IE8 the attachments are there and I can open them. this wasnt a problem before I upgraded

I had a similar problem and solved it by managing my add ons - - - specifically disabling Microsoft Silverlight thru the tools icon on Firefox's menu bar. I had a different version of windows but maybe this will work for you. Since then, I have had no trouble with my hotmail attachments. Easy fix if it works for you. Good Luck.

I tried disabling Silverlight but unfortunately it didn't work for me. Thanks for the suggestion. Ian
