My keyword url keeps getting switched back to bing after i set it to google. It is really annoying how do i get it to stick to just google?

I keep having to change my keyword.url to google because for some reason it just changes back to bing. I don't know why it doesn't save it after i change it to google. Is it the theme I'm using? Help.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

  • Use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe mode start window to disable all extensions.
  • Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

i had the same problem for weeks and i couldnt seem to find the answer anywhere. you prob already found the solution, but i just went and removed some of the extensions i didnt need or didnt know i had and that completely fixed the problem. go figure.
