Is there an alternative to Awsome Screenshot on the latest Firefox?
I miss the ease of use and the ability to crop just the part of the screen that I want. Is there another program that will do this?

PicPick use to be my favorite screen capture program, however since FF upgrade to ver 6. PicPicks Scrolling Screen Capture feature no longer works. I haven't gotten any response form PicPick nor FF as to what the problem is or if there is a fix. If anyone knows of a fix...let us know so that we can continue using PicPick.
PS PicPicks Scrolling Screen Capture feature still works just fine in IE...go figure.
Awesome Screenshot is available for Firefox 4.0b7 - 7.*. I have it installed and use it frequently in both Firefox 6.0.2 and Firefox 7beta. Maybe you just need to update it.

The information submitted with your question, indicates that you are using Firefox 5.0.1. The current version is Firefox 6.0.2 and it includes fixes for a number of security issues still found in Firefox 5.0.1. Consider upgrading. Also, Firefox 7 is scheduled to be released next week.

Thanks for the suggested add on. I've tried it and found it to have limited ability. Yes it does screen capture the entire web page, however the hot keys do not seem to work, thus requiring a number of mouse clicks to get what you want and save where you want. PicPick (when it works) allows you to save it immediately to a file folder of your choice and automatically opens the capture up in the graphic program that you choose. In addition Awesome Screenshot does not give you the ability to just capture a portion of a screen. You have to wait till the full screen is captured, then use the crop tool. Again...mouse intensive...not simple 1 click type process. This would not be so bad if you are only doing this infrequently, but I use the tool daily for a number of sites that I need to get info from. Lastly, I have the latest version of FF 6.02 not 5.01. Thanks again for your help. Hopefully someone at FF or PicPick will see the issue and fix it. By the way, I have tried several other screen capture programs that also will do scrolling screen captures of the entire web page...each seems to have the same problem in FF ver 6 but not IE. So I'm guessing that there is something with FF that needs attending too.
