That's the Google Toolbar that doesn't work with Firefox 5. Yes it is not Compatible since Google decided not to support Firefox in order to LURE the users to use Google Chrome instead of Mozilla Firefox.

No dice. Google doesn't show up under manage search engines. I can't find it in add ons either (other than a billion other versions made by users)

Well, I searched and found that google search bar does not work with version 5. I did add google EN which seems to be working. Thanks for your effort anyway.

The links provided above are telling you how to ADD Search Engines IN the Existing Firefox Search Bar list of Search Engines.
Anyway it appears like your problem is resolved.
Um actually I think you misunderstood what I needed. I still dont have the original google search bar which is what I really wanted. I just settled for this knock off since the real google search bar doesn't work with version 5.

Yep. Oh well. The Google "EN" works the same as the original from what I can tell. I would suggest any others with this question to use it instead. Of course they can always go to google.com I guess. Have a good one!!
