After I pick a website from a list it redirects me to some other crap, how do i turn that off? Keep it simple.
I do a search... it then comes up with a list of websites...I then pick a particular site but instead of going to that website it redirects me somewhere else.

You may be infected with malware.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
