BBC iplayer favorites will not remain saved, they used to. What can I do?

Hi I have the latest verson of firefox. When I select programmes for the favorites list on BBC iplayer, they appear on the list, but if I close the programme and re-open it they have vanished. When I do the same thing in Internet Explorer, on the same pc, it is fine, they remain on the list. What is the problem and how do I fix it?

Is it a sign-in problem? When this happened to me it was not the browser itself but rather the fact that I had saved some favourites while I was signed out. So when I noticed and signed back in again they were gone.

A change in version 7 of Firefox which has been made to improve the security of the browser and is related to cross domain scripting vulnerabilities has had the unfortunate side-effect of breaking the favourites functionality in iPlayer. The iPlayer development team are currently working on a way to rectify the situation and can only apologise for the inconvenience caused.
