Every time I try to open Firefox, I just get a crash reporter thing. The same happens in safe mode. Also, Google Chrome is also refusing to open, and crashes too. Any ideas on some stuff to try? I can't do all my school work on my phone.

If another browser is crashing the problem is not specific to Firefox, maybe you should look at more general causes of crashes, and your Windows 7 OS.

Loose cards, overheating, and malware are some typical possible causes of a crash.
