pages slow down or stop then ff crashes ran mal/spyware ev updated

Pages i open yahoomail, twitter, fanfiction.net. will work for short time, then actions (enter, page down, click in boxes etc) slow way down then firefox crashes. reports were sent I don't have numbers. I ran the malware/spyware programs rec'd on your help page. I don't seem to have these problems using IE. I really like Firefox but if this continues I'll have no choice but to use IE or download Chrome. I tried to read your info on crashes but it just confused me, sorry

Type about:crashes in the URL bar and hit Enter.

Middle-Click the hyperlinks to bring up each Crash Report page in a new Tab; each page may take a few minutes to load.
Then copy'n'paste the URL of each of those reports into the message box here.
We'll see if we can help you figure out what is causing those crashes to happen.
