Hi there,

i love firefox but its now got this useless search engine called conduit!! How do i get google search back?

I'm not sure if this conduit thing appeared when i did the latest firefox upgrade, or if i have some sort of virus or unwanted programme? Im only basic with computers and can't do complicated stuff... is there a way i can just get the google search back like it was for the last 2 years or so?? thx!

Hi rhian,

You should take a look at the Knowledge Base article Search bar - add, change and manage search engines on Firefox. It will show you how to change your default search. If that doesn't work you should look at Preferences not saved.

Finally, you might want to look into a possible malware issue.
