Clean format, copyed old mozilla folder to back up drive, can't find bookmarks.
I had a few issues on my OS so i re-formatted the hard drive (drive C:) after that i was reinstalling all the programs and personal stuff like all users but this time when i copied my Mozilla Firefox folder so preserve my bookmarks, i went in and replaced the new folder with my old folder and my bookmarks are not there at all, nether is my persona or skin and add on. im sad that i most likely have lost 20+ important bookmarks and have to re-apply my persona and add-on/s.

Perform the suggestions mentioned in the following articles:
- Copying files between profile folders
- Restore bookmarks from backup or move them to another computer
Check and tell if its working.
yes ive used the back-up/recovery section and educated myself with it, thats a really cool feature. one the other topic, copying and profiles, it helped but i hav not yet found/located the places.sqlite or any of the other mentioned files. i "search" my system to see what that turns up...................and nothing is found. nothing matching places.sqlite on my C: or D: HHDs
