Firefox automatically updated then all the extentions vanished. I started downloading the extensions again but whenever I press on the new Extensions Options, the browser freezes and has to be shut down by Task Manager. Is there a way to get the original extensions and settings back like they were before the update?

It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.

Delete the files extensions.* (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

New files will be created when required.

See "Corrupt extension files":

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar (or click the "Find Updates" button in older Firefox versions) to do a compatibility check or see if there is a compatibility update available.

I followed the instructions to delete the extension files then when I went to the link for corrupted files, it did nothing. Now I go to my extensions and it says I have none. It looks like it's time to quit Firefox. It just doesn't work anymore. I'm very disappointed having to quit after all these years.
