spell check not working
Spell check is not working in Firefox 11 on Linux Mint v12 Cinnamon but IS checked in the Advanced tab in Preferences? It also does NOT work in the standard Gnome3 desktop Enviorment.
Spell check WORKS FINE in Opera, Chrome and Libre Office so there's no files missing from Mint to cause this??
I've unchecked spell check, closed Firefox and rebooted the system and then went in and rechecked spell check, closed Firefox and reopened it and tried and it STILL doesn't work? The only thing I haven't done is uninstall and reinstall Firefox??
Any help?
Thanks

Ya know, I did several searches trying to find something like that link you posted but never did find it either here or on Google??
But yeah, that fixed it. Question is, why wasn't that dictionary installed in the first place though if it was needed? I've installed Linux Mint 12 on 2 other computers here in my shop in the last week and NEVER seen this problem with either of those??
I did check to make sure that Mint had the dictionary installed but wasn't aware that Firefox had it's own? Learn something new every day, hey!
Oh, and thanks again for the link! ;-)

Hey Lone_Gunman45,
You might want to take a look at the How do I use the Firefox spell checker? Knowledge Base article. There is a section in there on adding dictionaries. First thing you should do is check to be sure that you have a dictionary added. Then be sure that it is checked as the default one to use.
Hopefully this helps!
