I can't confirm changes in setting just because my OK button disappeared. THe only button I have no is "Close", so if I hit it obviously changed are not saved.

Start Firefox in -> Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if your add-ons/extension are causing the problem.

Check and tell if its working.
