Can anyone use mozilla's mopad/etherpad?
For a school project, I was wondering if we can use the mopad to put all our notes on as we do our research.

Well, the start page says it is for "Mozilla-related work" (https://etherpad.mozilla.org/). Can you think of any nexus between your research and the mission of Mozilla? If not, you might need to find another host...
In searching a bit for Etherpad hosts a lot of people are complaining about downtime. It might take a while to find a good host.
