Has been happening for about two weeks now. Firefox crashes whenever I receive a facebook message while it is opened in a tab. It still happens in safe mode. All my drivers are up-to-date and my firefox + extensions are uptodate

I've tried reinstalling flash, clearing cookies/history, and reinstalling firefox and it still happens (but when i reinstalled firefox, i did the backup/restore thing that restored everything so I have not tried a true clean install.)

Thanks.

hello, there is not much information about this type of crash available at the moment, so i took the liberty of filing a bug report describing the issue (see bug #791112). you might want to keep an eye on that...

Thank you for doing that. It's so irritating! I've just resorted to using facebook chat on my phone and keeping it turned off in the browser in the meantime, haha.

Jadis, et al...

Is your crash gone in newer version of Firefox?
