I have firefox 15 on ubuntu 12.04 with lots of addons. Found out that the popup blocker icon was missing on location bar and didn't show the blocker message on the top of screen while firefox block a popup window. I need to access the icon or the preference button to allow some popup windows which are required by some functionalities, ex. Mendeley import button.

Wondering if there is any way to fix this problem.

Issues with missing icons usually indicate a problem with an incompatible Firefox theme, so if you do not use the default theme then select that theme.
