Is this the Firefox icon on your desktop, or where are you clicking to open Firefox? Also, you firefox is out of date, please update immediately Update Firefox to the latest release

This is both the Firefox icon on my Windows 7 taskbar, as well as when I launch Firefox directly from Programs. A Firefox window opens, but then disappears, and iTunes comes up instead. I have installed version 16.0.2 now. Thanks for your help.

Actually... I take it back. I TRIED to update to 16.0.2, but I keep getting the error message that Firefox must be closed first. I'm using Chrome to send these messages, and have also closed iTunes, in case that was contributing to the problem. No use... I can't install the upgrade.
