My Firefox window does not have the same skin as that shown in the video - I can't follow the directions without the menus.

You are on Windows XP, so you won't have the Orange Firefox button, but will have the old style File, Edit, View, etc. Display the Firefox button menu instead of the menu toolbar will help you change to the Orange button if that's what you'd like
