Apop-up box appears each time I start up F/F. This says that it is checking the compatibilty of FF add-ons with this version of FF.

HOW do I stop this happening EACH time I start FF?

I am using windows 7 pro and have FF 19.02

It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.

Delete the files extensions.* (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

New files will be created when required.

See "Corrupt extension files":

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar (or click the "Find Updates" button in older Firefox versions) to check if there is a compatibility update available.

If this hasn't helped then also try to delete the addons.sqlite file.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

Cor-el, Thank you for your assistance!

I have removed a lot of the Add-ons that I had installed. (I didn't know what half of them are for anyway!) I am not too sure on how to go about deleting all the file extensions that you are suggesting, Do I use Windows Explorer to do this?

Thanks for all your time

Yes, you can delete those files in the Firefox profile folder with Windows Explorer.
