Is "mozilla64bit.com" a legit part of mozilla?
The 7/25 release of Java has announced that it has split into 64-bit and 32-bit versions, and it suggests that people download and use >> BOTH << : (1) the 64-bit version, with 64-bit browsers; and, (2) the 32-bit version, with 32-bit browsers. That has sent guys like me looking for a good, reliable 64 bit version of Firefox. I saw the warnings about Waterfox; thanks for those. So now I'm wondering if the Firefox 64-bit version that is available from a website called "mozilla64bit.com" is also a 3rd party hack, or a legit beta-type release by the real and true mozilla organization? If they ARE legit, please have them say so, on their website, If they are NOT legit, please demand that they stop using that name. And please, it's now time to just plain issue a reliable 64-bit version. Isn't it?

No the mozilla64bit dot com site is not official. It looks like the the person(s) who updates that site is posting random at the time Nightly channel builds builds as soon as the version starts on Nightly channel hence the a1 on end of version number. The 25.0a1 listed just started development today on Nightly channel for example.
Mozilla does not provide any Win64 builds of Firefox as the Win32 builds works fine. The Win64 builds on the unstable Nightly channel (meant for devs and testers) are actually not officially supported as they are more for to catch breakage/regreassions and can take a while for the servers or builds of these to be fixed if a problem occurs unlike with the officially supported Win32 builds. The Nightly builds from Mozilla also gets update pretty much everyday due to checkins so they are not like release builds updates. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Supported_build_configurations
There is still quite a bit more work than people may think in having stable Win64 builds for releases.
