click on a link on a page it would soetimes start to load then jump to Yahoo search page. I reset firefox and now no links work from email or websites

so previously when I wold click on a link on a web page it would sometimes send me to a weird yahoo search engine, but not always. Then it started to do the same thing for links in my emails. then it was always. So i reset Firefox and now if i do a search for something the search results will come up but when i try to click the link i want I get an error messages saying Firefox cant open page check the spelling of your link eg.ww. instead of www. also with the option to try again. the same thing happens when i click on links from emails. please help. has gone from mild irritation to debilitating.

Hi TBurdett, Thank you for your question. I understand that you have reset Firefox to stop the different search engine behavior.

However I also understand that there are some issues with links in email and when you click on the link that tried to auto correct the spelling of the previous one there is still a hijack of the search engine/page.

But try the very first article troubleshooting steps first and let us know.
